Do you wear tons of makeup to cover up your acne and acne marks?
Are you reluctant to swim, run, or engage in any activity that will cause your makeup to run?
Are you experiencing feelings of low self-esteem because of the appearance of your skin?
I feel your pain. I tried all sorts of skincare products without success.
After years of struggling with acne, I finally found a skincare routine that worked for me. Well, I can't guarantee that it will work for you as well because every skin type reacts differently. However, you can try it too if you are still searching for a solution.
So now to the routine.
Step 1. Cleansing: I wash my face morning and night EVERY DAY. I use Clearasil Cleanser. You can use any gentle cleanser. In the past, I would squeeze a drop on my hand and wash with my palms. I started seeing results when I used a washcloth to wash my face gently. This removed more dirt and makeup than just washing my face with my hands.

You can also use a Clarisonic facial brush. The whole idea is to get all the dirt and makeup off without leaving any residue. If you have any active pimples, wash gently as it can irritate your skin.
Step 2. Toning: After cleansing, I would tone my face with a cotton ball dipped in an equal part mixture of water and apple cider vinegar. This works by restoring the skin to the normal Ph. It clears acne and can help reduce acne marks.
Step 3. Treatment: After toning, I use an acne treatment cream. I use the Acnezine acne treatment cream. It contains benzoyl peroxide which works against acne. After applying the cream, I would wait for some minutes for the cream to be absorbed into my skin before moving on to the next step.
Step 4. Moisturizing: The last step is to moisturize my skin with coconut oil. This also helped to fade away the acne scars and discoloration. I used this only at night because it can darken your skin when exposed to sunlight.

Please note that coconut oil may not work for every skin. It may just be too heavy for some skin types and cause more acne. Also, do a patch test before you use to be sure you are not allergic to it.
